Kim Bush is Associate General Counsel, Litigation at BIC Corporation, where she leads North American litigation strategy and global intellectual property enforcement for one of the world’s most recognized consumer brands. She oversees a broad portfolio of high-exposure matters spanning product liability, commercial, employment, regulatory, bankruptcy, financial services, and general liability disputes, while advising senior leadership on enterprise risk, litigation strategy, and business-critical legal issues.
Kim also leads BIC’s North American anti-counterfeiting and brand protection initiatives, directing coordinated enforcement and litigation strategies designed to safeguard the company’s trademarks, copyrights, and consumer brand integrity worldwide. In addition, she has played a key role in modernizing litigation operations, including outside counsel management, e-discovery protocols, and enterprise litigation processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organization.
Before joining BIC, Kim spent more than a decade at a global commercial insurance carrier, where she served in multiple senior leadership roles, culminating as Vice President and Head of U.S. Program Claims and Global Third-Party Administrator Operations. In that capacity, she directed enterprise litigation and claims strategy across complex, multi-jurisdictional matters involving significant financial, regulatory, and reputational exposure. She led geographically dispersed legal and operational teams across North America and London and advised executive leadership on litigation risk, dispute resolution, and emerging legal trends affecting global operations.
Kim began her career in private practice as a litigator and trial attorney in Connecticut, representing corporate clients in complex commercial, employment, product liability, healthcare, bankruptcy, and insurance-related disputes through all phases of litigation, including trial, mediation, arbitration, and appeal.
Known for her strategic, business-oriented approach, Kim combines deep litigation expertise with operational leadership and enterprise risk management experience, making her a trusted advisor to executive leadership in global corporate environments.
