Teresa Griffin joined Republic Airways, Inc. as Director of Legal, Associate General Counsel in October 2023. In this role, she leads and manages teams in all legal commercial matters. She also provides counsel to LIFT Academy, an affiliate of Republic Airways developed to train a pipeline of commercial pilots for Republic’s growth. Teresa is an integral part of Republic’s leadership team, advising Executive Leadership on all aspects of the Company’s mission to provide safe, clean and reliable service to connect people and communities across America.

Prior to joining Republic, Teresa was a partner at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP for 8 years, and an associate there for 8 years prior to that. After years of representing clients in various types of corporate transactions and commercial litigation, Teresa successfully built and co-led Faegre Drinker’s EU Collective Redress Directive Team, which focuses on global mass tort litigation defense. This niche practice area quickly became a global leader in defense of some of the world’s largest technology companies. She also served as class, consumer and mass tort global coordination counsel for the firm’s largest clients, effectively managing active caseloads across multiple internal and external teams. Teresa has litigated in state and federal courts across the country, written chapters for the International Comparative Law Group on US Product Liability Law, and has published about and spoken at conferences related to her work.

Teresa graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in 2004 and from IU McKinney School of Law in 2007.



Teresa and her husband, Tim, are the proud parents of five daughters, and lifetime residents of Carmel, Indiana.
