Kim Walker is VP & General Counsel at Hach and the Water Segment, Strategic Product and Regulatory Compliance leader.  She is responsible for supporting Hach, AQI, OTT, Trojan and Water Segment operations in the EMEA region.   Kim joined the Water Segment in August 2017 as the Chief Compliance Officer. Before joining the Water Segment, she served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Sr. Associate General Counsel for Transocean Ltd., where she was responsible for upgrading Transocean’s compliance program and leading its operational compliance efforts related to its U.S. Department of Justice Consent Decree and Environmental Protection Agency Administrative Agreement that resulted from the Macondo well blowout in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.  Over the past 24 years, Kim has held roles of increasing responsibility both as an in-house and external legal advisor specializing in compliance, civil and criminal litigation, and crisis management. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida State University and an M.B.A from Troy State University.  She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from George Mason School of Law.  Kim is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Virginia and Washington, D.C. She lives in Northern Colorado with her husband, Kyle, and two very spoiled dogs.
