Angeline Chen is a public company board director and seasoned C-suite executive with over 30 years of experience spanning legal, compliance, and operational leadership experience. She has served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Corporate Secretary, bringing a uniquely integrated business and legal perspective to complex organizational challenges and opportunities. Her career has spanned multiple industries and environments (including industry, private practice, academia, an international organization, and government) and she has specialized expertise in corporate governance, cybersecurity and emerging technologies, enterprise risk management, national security, and regulatory matters.
She currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Progress Federal Solutions, Inc., and as a director on several boards including Stantec, Inc., a publicly traded Canadian company. Her prior experience includes serving as Of Counsel at DLA Piper, in senior executive roles at Siemens Government Technologies and Fincantieri Marine Group, as well as leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, International Launch Services, the National Security Agency, and INTELSAT.
Ms. Chen has twenty years of service in academia, serving as faculty at George Mason Univ. Antonin Scalia Law School (teaching a course in technology, terrorism and national security law) and the University of Maryland Global Campus (teaching a course in organizational behavior management as part of UMGC's MBA program). She holds a B.A. and J.D. from Villanova University, an LL.M. from Georgetown University, an M.B.A. from the Univ. of Maryland, and a M.S. in Cybersecurity from Brown University.
