Christine E. Enemark is the Vice President and Associate General Counsel – Prime Video Legal for Amazon.com, managing a team of over 70 lawyers and legal professionals in 15 offices around the world. In this role, she provides legal and strategic support for the Prime Video business worldwide. In her almost 15 years at Amazon, she has negotiated video license agreements with major studio partners around the world, advised on the launch of subscription video services in new territories, developed and maintained strategic relationships with device manufacturers, advised on the acquisition and production of live sports rights, and managed compliance and policy efforts related to the video business. She is one of three senior legal leaders in Amazon’s HQ2 office in Arlington, Virginia, and serves as an Executive Co-Sponsor of Amazon Legal’s Inclusion Leadership Team and the Women in the Legal Department (WiLD).
In her previous role that included the early Amazon Originals production and development teams, she advised on the development and production of several original video series including Bosch, The Man in the High Castle, The Grand Tour and other titles. Prior to joining Amazon, Christine was a corporate partner at the law firm Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. Her clients included a range of media and telecommunications companies, including the National Geographic Society, PBS, the NBC Network Affiliates, Qualcomm, and Hearst Television. She has previously served on the board of directors of the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture and on the Women’s Committee of The Washington Ballet. Christine received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from Columbia Law School. She clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit for Judge Paul Michel.
Christine and her husband live in Bethesda, Maryland and have two adult daughters. She is a passionate Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals fan and enjoys baking and reading in her spare time.
