Melissa Weberman leads the eDiscovery & Data Analytics (“eData”) group at Arnold & Porter, where she advises clients on defensible, efficient discovery practices and practical information governance. She works with organizations to design retention policies, improve legal hold processes, and implement data disposition programs that reduce risk, control costs, and prepare them for litigation and regulatory demands. Melissa also guides the firm’s approach to legal technology, including the use of AI tools in both discovery and governance. She helps clients understand how AI-generated and AI-referenced content affects retention, preservation, and downstream discovery obligations.
