Jenna Hudson (she/her) is a Senior Litigation Counsel at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Jenna joined the Center in 2022—just after the fall of Roe v. Wade. In addition to litigating cases, Jenna focuses on scaling up the Center’s advancement of reproductive through its pro bono resources and its position within the reproductive rights, health, and justice movement. In this role, Jenna coordinates extensively with internal partners—including in the Center’s State Policy and Advocacy, Federal Policy and Advocacy, and Corporate Engagement units—and external partners—including Attorneys General, movement partners, and pro bono law firms. Jenna also represents the Center in national coalitions and across several regional and national task forces responding to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, including the Abortion Defense Network and Repro Legal Helpline support systems for abortion providers, seekers, and supporters.
Immediately prior to joining the Center, Jenna was a partner at Gilbert LLP, a DC-based boutique firm that specializes in plaintiff-side complex civil litigation and dispute resolution. There, she developed and executed litigation and settlement strategy, advised clients in response to evolving legal issues, built and maintained extensive nationwide coalitions, and litigated cases from start to finish. Throughout her career, Jenna has been committed to public interest and pro bono work. Jenna is particularly proud to have drafted nearly a dozen amicus curiae briefs to the Supreme Court, including in Young v. United Parcel Service, Inc. and Zubik v. Burwell. Jenna also previously served on the Board of Trustees for Legal Aid DC.
Jenna received her J.D. with honors from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was a Note & Comment Editor for the ABA’s Administrative Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and a Dean’s Fellow in the Legal Rhetoric Department. She also holds a B.A. with honors in Political Science and Psychology from The George Washington University.
