Sophia Lee leads Altus Power’s legal strategy and sustainability program while advancing Altus Power’s portfolio of solar generation, storage and EV charging assets. Altus Power is the largest commercial-scale provider of clean electric power serving commercial, industrial, public sector and community solar customers with end-to-end solutions.

Prior to joining Altus Power in 2021, Sophia was General Counsel of IEX, the Investors Exchange, where she led the highly-scrutinized SEC approval process to become a national securities exchange and helped launch other data, API and blockchain businesses. Prior to that, Sophia was Deputy General Counsel of Liquidnet, where she worked with global regulators to establish trading venues around the world and managed all corporate transactions. Sophia started her career as a Technology Associate at Morgan Stanley and a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate at Paul Weiss. Sophia has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from M.I.T. and a JD from NYU Law and is a registered attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
