Tamra Tyree Moore is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at VantageScore. She reports directly to the General Counsel and is responsible for all legal and compliance matters at the company. She also serves as a key member of the company’s AI governance committee.

Prior to her position at VantageScore, Tamra most was Vice President, Corporate Counsel at a global financial services company where she advised the Chief Data Officer and others on legal and regulatory compliance related to the development and use of AI/ML and was responsible for developing and scaling the company’s AI governance program. Prior to this role, she was a partner in a large DC law firm and served as in-house litigation counsel at a large government defense and technology company.

In addition to her private sector experience, Tamra has significant public sector experience including serving for nearly a decade as senior counsel in the Civil Division’s Federal Programs Branch of the United States Department of Justice.

Tamra began her career with two federal clerkships on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court of Rhode Island. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Ethics and Judaic Studies from Brown University.

She holds IAPP’s AI governance professional (AIGP) certification, certified information privacy professional for the United States (CIPP/US) certification, and certified information privacy manager (CIPM)certification. She also recently obtained a Chief AI Officer certification.
