Victoria A. Joseph is Senior Counsel in the Litigation, Enforcement, and Investigations group at Vanguard, one of the world’s largest asset management firms. As the AI Lead for her team, she is responsible for exploring and implementing AI-integrated workflows to improve legal intake, triage, and litigation strategy across cross-functional teams. In her broader role, she manages high-stakes litigation, partners across business lines to shape enterprise litigation strategy, streamlines internal policy, and safeguards privilege organization-wide.

Prior to joining Vanguard, Victoria served as a federal law clerk in the District of Delaware and practiced at Hogan Lovells US LLP, where she built a strong foundation in complex commercial litigation and government investigations. She also played a pivotal role on the legal team that helped prosecute the murder of George Floyd—an experience that deepened her commitment to advocacy and justice under pressure.

Victoria is a dual-barred litigator (NY & PA) with a sustained record of legal excellence and community engagement. She serves on the Scholarship Committee of The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia and sits on the board of the Penn Carey Law Black Alumni Association. She also provides pro bono representation through PhillyVIP, focusing on landlord-tenant disputes. Her recognitions include the 2025 BLSA Excellence in the Private Sector Alumni Award, the 2024 LCLD Pathfinder Atlas Award, the 2023 Howard Lesnick Pro Bono Award, and Penn Carey Law’s Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award.
