She began her legal career at Briggs and Morgan (now
Taft), later becoming Partner at Dunkley & Bennett and at Hinshaw & Culbertson, where she advised clients in commercial real estate, lending, and corporate transactions. As SVP and General Counsel at CSM Corporation, Michelle was a member of the executive team and led legal strategy across a multistate portfolio of 100+ commercial properties, residential complexes, and hospitality holdings.
