Atinuke “Tinu” Diver is a strategic leader, lawyer, and storyteller who brings a multidisciplinary lens to measuring impact and elevating organizational influence. With a background that spans legal compliance, nonprofit executive leadership, and data-driven philanthropy, Tinu is known for helping mission-driven teams translate complex work into compelling narratives and actionable metrics that resonate with stakeholders.

As Vice President of Impact at DHIC, the largest nonprofit affordable housing developer in North Carolina’s Research Triangle region, Tinu leads enterprise-wide strategies for storytelling, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement—translating data into influence
across sectors. In 2024, she was selected for the NeighborWorks America x Tableau Business Intelligence Fellowship, where she designed data visualization tools to help housing organizations better communicate impact to funders and policymakers. She is also an award-winning documentarian and impact producer dedicated to amplifying overlooked stories that shift narratives and drive change.
Tinu began her career as an attorney in the federal government and higher education, managing ethics, policy, and compliance portfolios. Her experience as a community organizer sharpened her ability to mobilize people, power, and data to drive systemic change.
Over time, she built a reputation for guiding teams through organizational pivots, aligning metrics with mission, and designing evaluation systems that don’t just count—but communicate—value. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Law, a Certificate in Documentary Arts from Duke University, a Nonprofit Leadership Certificate from the UNC School of Social Work, and a BA in English from UNC-Chapel Hill.

A returning speaker and new WIPL Advisory Board member, Tinu is passionate about equipping legal leaders with the tools to demonstrate their strategic value, deepen cross-functional influence, and connect their work to broader business goals, personal
values and a sense of purpose.
