Andrea Gildea is General Counsel of Hyundai Capital, a financial services company with nearly billion under management, where she runs the legal and compliance functions. Prior to joining Hyundai, Andrea held various leadership roles with her most recent role as Global Head of Legal at Wise plc (formerly TransferWise), where she built the global legal team and advised on Wise’s IPO and its transformation into a public company. Andrea has over 18 years of legal, regulatory, and public policy experience largely in the financial services and technology sectors. She started her career as a law clerk for the Chief Judge of the US Bankruptcy Court in New York City and was an associate at Davis Polk and Covington & Burling LLP.
