Karen Kreuzkamp is Deputy General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Tools for Humanity. In this role, Karen manages the company’s responses to regulatory investigations and inquiries and oversees the compliance program. Prior to joining Tools for Humanity, Karen was Senior Director, Regulatory and Compliance at OpenSea.

Before moving in-house, Karen served as a Supervisory Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of California and Senior Counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement. She began her legal career as an associate at two international law firms, after having completed a clerkship with the Honorable Jule E. Carnes of the Northern District of Georgia. Karen earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and her Bachelor of Acts, with highest honors, from Emory University.
