Dawn J. Blume is Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment at bp Corporation North America, Inc. She concentrates her practice on EEO compliance; supporting the Company’s unionized workforces for its refineries and pipelines; and wage and hour compliance and counseling for its mobility and convenience offerings for its U.S. West Coast operations. During her twenty plus years as a labor & employment lawyer, Dawn has had roles working as Trial Counsel for the NLRB; a labor & employment associate for a mid-sized law firm; and as in-house labor & employment counsel to various global companies in the manufacturing, transportation and technology sectors. Dawn is a long-time contributing author to The Developing Labor Law and has been a guest panel speaker at nationwide conferences such as the Federal Bar Association Annual Meeting and Conference. Dawn lives in the North Shore of Chicago with her husband and three boys.
