Mary B. Winter is President and General Counsel, of Firm Advice Inc. A graduate of Emory Law School, Ms. Winter has a wide range of experience in the legal market. She practiced law for seven years at the international law firm Seyfarth Shaw, served one year as general counsel of a corporation, and was publisher and editor of a human resources journal for two years. Since 1996, Ms. Winter has excelled in the attorney placement industry. In 2000, she started Firm Advice, placing attorneys on a contract and direct hire basis in both law firms and corporations.

Ms. Winter has held numerous volunteer and elected positions, including Board Member and Chair of the Membership Committee of WMACCA; Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee of the Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law Section of the DC Bar; and Board Member, Secretary and Chair of the Career Development Committee and Working Parents Forum of the DC Women's Bar Association. She also serves on the Women’s Advisory Committee of the National Girl Scouts and on the Board of the Council for Court Excellence. Ms. Winter has authored dozens of articles and book chapters and is a frequent speaker on career development and legal department management issues.
