For each engagement in which Emma Schuering is involved, she seeks to provide concise and articulate legal counsel that aligns with clients’ business objectives. Emma routinely represents employers in litigation involving a variety of employment matters, including restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and discrimination and retaliation claims. Emma also has significant experience representing employers against individual and class FCRA claims and advising clients on FCRA compliance.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Emma worked as a law clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, in Springfield, Missouri. During her tenure, Emma was exposed to number of areas of law and developed a deep understanding of the appellate process. Her experience reviewing cases from start to finish provides her with a unique perspective concerning the potential far-reaching consequences of actions taken even in the earliest stages of litigation.
