Catherine is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of TRC Companies, Inc. Between 2003 and 2012 at TRC, she provided legal support to TRC’s environmental and infrastructure projects, including contract drafting and review for a wide range of environmental and engineering projects, both public and private. She also developed a contracts management program and oversaw the company’s registration and professional licensing matters across the country. Catherine left the company in 2012 to become the first general counsel of Weidlinger Associates, Inc., a leading structural engineering firm headquartered in Manhattan. In that role, she built the firm’s legal function and was legal advisor to the firm’s board. She led the successful sale of Weidlinger to Thornton Tomasetti in 2015. She returned to TRC in 2016 and assumed responsibility for the company’s corporate legal matters, providing legal support to the company’s oil & gas operations, and playing a key role on the company’s enterprise risk team overseeing many legal department operations.
Catherine was Chair of the Corporate Counsel Division of the ABA Forum on Construction Law from May 2018 to May 2020. She has been a member of the Legal Counsel Forum, American Council of Engineering Companies since 2012.
Catherine is admitted to the bar in New York and Connecticut and is also a member of the U.S. Supreme Court bar.
She received her JD and MBA from the University of Connecticut.
