This year has brought heavily shifting federal enforcement priorities, with state regulators stepping in to increase enforcement and regulate in industries and substantive areas that have traditionally been handled at the federal level. This roundtable will discuss the areas where enforcement has shifted between federal and state authorities, anticipated enforcement trends going forward, and how companies can prepare—including how (and whether) to adjust to changing federal enforcement priorities, and how best to handle inquiries or investigations by state attorneys general.
