2020 has been the year for remote working with many teams turning to virtual workspaces to keep productivity up and keeping the business moving forward. Remote working certainly provides opportunities and helps to level the playing field for minorities, parents, women and those with disabilities and it has been proven to be effective at maintaining productivity levels similar to an office environment. As we approach the end of the year, we take a look at the key lessons learnt from managing a remote workforce, how leadership styles need to be adapted to suit the digital environment and how we can take these key learnings forward to improve team management and leadership of in house legal teams.
