Comprehensive privacy bills at the state level have gained significant momentum in the past year. In 2018, we saw the California Consumer Privacy Act pass. Following this initial bill, we are now seeing many more states exploring and proposing similar legislation. The shifting landscape of state-privacy continues to change, providing enhanced protection to consumers in their respective states. In this session, we will discuss the most recent developments and explore whether the provisions set forth in the different bills offer the same level of protection.
