Susan joined AlixPartners in 2009 after nearly 15 years in the enforcement division of the SEC, including as the Chief Accountant of the division from 2003-2009. She has over 25 years of experience investigating and evaluating matters related to corporate financial reporting, accounting irregularities, whistle-blower complaints, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement, and internal controls. She has been involved in hundreds of relevant investigations and regularly presents the results of the work to company management, boards of directors, external auditors and regulatory agencies. ​Susan was named to Global Investigation Review’s 2021 “Women in Investigations” and listed as one of GIR’s “Top FCPA Practitioners.” She has received several awards including the SEC’s Distinguished Service Award in 2006 and The National Law Journal's 2014 "Governance, Risk and Compliance Trailblazer and Pioneer." She is a speaker nationally and internationally on public company financial reporting, financial fraud investigations and enforcement actions involving the SEC and other government entities.
