Nicole Barrett is Vice President, Chief Research, Development & Operations Counsel at Biogen, a global biotechnology company based in Cambridge, MA. Nicole is a healthcare attorney with over 15 years of biotech and pharma industry-related experience. In her current role, she leads a team of attorneys who partners with Biogen’s R&D and manufacturing and distribution organizations to develop new therapies in neurological diseases. Prior to Biogen, Nicole held various legal roles advising the Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial organizations at Elan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Roche. Nicole started her legal career in private practice at an intellectual property boutique advising start-up biotech and diagnostics companies on patent matters.
