Susan Cassidy is a government contracts and cybersecurity partner at Covington, where she advises clients on the complex rules and regulations imposed on government contractors, with a special emphasis on the defense and intelligence sectors. Prior to joining Covington, Susan served as Senior Counsel for Northrop Grumman Corporation and for Motorola, Inc. She also taught for several years as an Adjunct instructor at the American University Washington College of Law. Before moving in-house, she was a litigation and government contracts partner at Arnold and Porter LLP. Susan began her legal career at Crowell & Moring LLP as an associate. She holds degrees from the American University Washington College of Law and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
