What does it take to be considered innovative? Often that depends on who you’re asking. Some GCs are innovative in the ways they increase diversity within their companies or, integrate their teams into the business or, utilize new technology while others are pursuing social advocacy on behalf of their companies.This session will discuss the different ways GCs are being challenged to pursue innovation and how you can be more innovative in your role. -Defining innovation in legal -Dissecting whether the GC has a role as an advocate for the public when regulations affect both the population and your corporation -Understanding the benefits of encouraging innovation within your team
