With corporate governance coming under the microscope all over, in-house counsel, and GCs in particular, need to ensure they have a handle on their responsibilities to their company and as a leader in the organization. There is a balance between providing advice and mitigating risk. In addition, GCs in today’s environment must deal with increasing scrutiny from not only the board, but also the media and government. In this session our panellists will discuss some of the top concerns for in-house attorneys and the ethical considerations they should be aware of when handling these tricky affairs.
