Technology is constantly evolving and bringing change to the legal industry. For instance, tech such as machine learning, IoT, AI and Blockchain have enormous benefits to strengthen supply chain management, which in turn affects the ways that in-house counsel are working with supply vendors. These technologies affect every part of the supply chain from the beginning, from ensuring that product is authenticated, to secure transfers of custody throughout the supply chain, data visibility and transparency, and process management. In-house counsel and compliance officers who manage supply chain are also seeing the benefits of readily-available data, and because it’s a more open system, these technologies are helping to enforce vendors to work within the laws and regulations in place to protect companies and consumers. In this session, in-house counsel discuss use-cases for automation efficiency within their global supply chains and how it impacts their day-to-day management.
