Amanda Daeges is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for U.S. Bank. In her current role, Amanda supports U.S. Bank’s retail and wholesale mortgage divisions as mortgage origination attorney. She provides legal counsel related to the origination of mortgages through the Bank’s retail, correspondent, and HFA channels by advising on regulatory matters, product development, loan documentation, credit underwriting, and dispute resolution. She also serves as Chair for the U.S. Bank Law Division Diversity and Inclusion Council and is the current Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Legal and Regulatory Compliance Committee.

Prior to her current position, Amanda served as a consumer regulatory attorney at U.S. Bank and as Associate Counsel at the Minnesota Bankers Association.

Amanda received her B.S. in Business Administration with honors from the University of South Dakota and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. She is also a 2018 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
