Carol Bouw is the Director of Legal Operations for Xcel Energy. Her primary responsibilities focus on financial management, department strategy, and implementing new processes and technology that bring the department further along in their operations maturity journey. Gartner has recently published two case studies on Xcel Energy’s legal department process improvement initiatives. Over the last 13 years at Xcel Energy, Carol has held a variety of strategy and performance roles, including chief of staff to senior executives. She has a change management certification from Prosci and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
