Daniel was appointed as HSBC Saudi Arabia Chief Risk Officer in June 2016 to help further develop the Saudi Arabia franchise. Daniel joined HSBC Group in 2006 and has held multiple senior roles in MENA, Europe and Latin America including UAE CRO and Uruguay COO. Prior to joining HSBC, Daniel qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the PwC London Office. Daniel has an MSci (Chemistry) from Kings College London and is a fellow of ICAEW.
