Louise Horrocks is Partner and Head of McCullough Robertson’s new diversified business, legal and non-legal advisory service, McR ESG.
Louise brings her strong leadership, commercial expertise and legal background to McR ESG, where she advises clients on their overall ESG strategy, including decarbonisation, investment and sustainability initiatives.
In 2021, Louise took a leave of absence from the McCullough Robertson to join global specialty climate change and investment firm, Pollination Capital Partners. As Executive Director, Louise led the firm’s energy, resources and industrials sector, providing strategic, commercial solutions for her clients.
Louise has significant experience in the resources and renewables industry, and was previously Joint-Lead of the firm’s Resources and Renewables Industry Group.
As a corporate lawyer specialising in resources and energy transactions and projects, Louise’s legal expertise includes advising on unregulated mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and advises on a broad range of infrastructure arrangements commercial and project documents across the Australian mining and resources sector. She provides technical advice and implements complex commercial transactions to structure acquisitions, disposals and establish new ventures with advantageous tax outcomes.
