Karen Healey is the General Counsel and Company Secretary of Cashrewards, Australia’s leading cashback platform. A commercially astute and solutions focussed leader, Karen has over 20 years post qualification experience in corporate and private practice.
Prior to joining Cashrewards, Karen was Senior Legal Counsel at Qantas Group, Australia's largest domestic and international airline, where she was a key member of the legal team responsible for supporting the operational and corporate functions. Karen was responsible for the legal delivery of key transformational projects including implementing the new sales distribution technology strategy, regional ventures & airline alliances. She also advised on a wide range of matters including the proposed takeover of Qantas, aircraft purchasing and leasing, engineering and maintenance and procurement projects.
Karen began her legal career in private practice at multinational law firm Minter Ellison working on major public and private merger & acquisition transactions and commercial advice.
Karen is a member of the executive leadership team at Cashrewards and executive sponsor for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a recently established program at Cashrewards which encourages diversity of thinking, a sense of belonging and growing together to achieve goals.
Outside the workplace, Karen loves the adventure of outdoor sports including swimming and skiing with her family, as well as enjoying the zen of practising yoga.
