Cassie Howman-Giles is Deputy General Counsel leading the employment relations team at Tabcorp. She is a highly skilled senior employment lawyer with over 16 years of experience both in private practice with top-tier firms in Australia and the United Kingdom, and in house.



Cassie has been at Tabcorp for 3 years. Prior to joining Tabcorp, she spent 5 years at Seyfarth Shaw advising a broad client base including various financial services organisations including banks and superannuation funds, former partners of a global law firm, a global technology company and an Australian freight logistics company. Prior to her time at Seyfarth Shaw, Cassie practiced at Henry Davis York, Olswang LLP (UK) and Herbert Smith Freehills.



Cassie has proven experience in providing high quality strategic commercial advice to senior executives on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters, and has considerable experience representing parties in conciliation conferences, mediations and litigation.



Cassie holds a bachelor degree in Science and a bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney, and a Juris Doctor from Bond University where she graduated with First Class Honours.
