Duane is the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for a leading provider of innovative, information-based solutions that help consumers manage risks and make better informed life decisions. He is a Martindale Hubbell AV rated corporate, securities, compliance and commercial lawyer. Duane has extensive experience in private equity, public securities law, M&A, commercial contracts, marketing and privacy law. He is responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs of the largest independent provider of privacy and identity theft protection services, reporting directly to the CEO and board of directors. Duane’s responsibilities include management and supervision of legal, privacy and compliance functions, as well as serving as the company’s corporate secretary and Chief Privacy Officer. Duane works closely with the operations, finance, sales and marketing departments as a key member of the executive team and the company’s primary risk manager.

Duane is a member of the Virginia, Connecticut and American Bar Associations, a member of the board of directors of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Media and the Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.

Duane received his JD from the University of Miami School of Law and his AB from Brandeis University.
