Rozan Simoni is General Counsel - North America for COFCO International, and is based in Chicago. COFCO International is a global commodity trading company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland – it sources, processes, trades and distributes grains & oilseeds, sugar, coffee, cotton and ethanol, reaching six continents, while employing 12,000 across the world, and collecting $55.3 billion in revenue in 2022. He oversees all of the legal affairs of the company in North America (U.S.A., Canada and Mexico). Rozan is also a member of the management team for the North American operations. Prior to this, Rozan worked at a global law firm, where he focused his practice primarily on U.S. and cross-border M&A and general business matters. This work encompassed a broad range of industries, including agribusiness, food and beverage, manufacturing, financial services and health care. Previously, Rozan served as corporate counsel for a $10 billion multinational company based in Europe, with a global portfolio in green infrastructure, commodities, energy and water sectors.
