Pierre Gentin is a Senior Partner and Global General Counsel of McKinsey & Company. He was previously a law partner at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, spent nearly two decades at Credit Suisse in senior legal and risk positions, and served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Pierre is a Trustee of various non-profit organizations including the Practising Law Institute, the Touro Synagogue Foundation, and Princeton University's Center for Public Policy and Finance. He has served on the World Economic Forum’s global agenda councils on values in decision-making, and on faith, and co-edited a book on alternative dispute resolution of financial disputes. Pierre lectures frequently at law and business schools in the U.S. and Europe and most recently taught ethics at the Wharton School of Business. Pierre attended Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
