Yvonne Perumal is the Executive for Group Legal and Forensics for the Liberty Group of companies. Liberty, which is headquartered in South Africa, is a pan-African company, specializing in insurance, investments, retirement funds, asset management, property development and management and healthcare.
Yvonne joined Liberty in 2005 and progressed into various roles within Group Secretarial, Stakeholder Management, Corporate Affairs, Africa Business Development and Group Legal. Before joining Liberty, Yvonne was the Company Secretary and Head of Legal and Compliance for Swiss Re Africa Limited.

Yvonne has over 20 years post admission experience in the financial services industry with a Masters in Banking and Finance Law, Competition Law, Company Law and Contract Law and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning through the University of the Free State.
