Jeannine is the VP and General Counsel for TransUnion Africa, overseeing the legal and compliance functions across eight countries in Africa. She holds both legal and business qualifications and has spent the greater part of her career in the financial services space, enabling businesses to maintain compliance whilst continuing to drive profits. She is passionate about forging relationships to drive industry issues, while ensuring the creation of a sustainable credit environment that can serve and protect both the consumer and business. She also serves on a number of industry bodies, including the Credit Bureau Association and the Credit Ombud Council. Prior to joining TransUnion, Jeannine headed up the Credit Bureau Association.
