Matthew Wilson is Associate General Counsel EMEA at Uber. Matt started his career with 4 years at Baker & McKenzie, following which was a six year stint working for Telefonica - with an enjoyable spell at Arsenal Football Club in the middle (he is a huge Arsenal fan). In his last 3 years at Telefonica, Matt headed up the legal team for Global Digital Ventures, working on venture capital, M&A deals and commercial partnerships as well as the development of new products and their implementation globally. Matt joined Uber in July 2015 and now leads the legal team in EMEA.

Matt is married and splits his spare time between being a climbing frame and lego-expert for his three young daughters.
