Mary is the Head of M&A Legal (EMEA and APAC) at the FTSE 100 constituent Informa PLC, a leading international events, digital services and academic research group. Since joining Informa in 2020, she has led a wide range of transformative corporate transactions, including a disposal programme in 2022 for the sale of the group’s intelligence division, numerous joint ventures, the acquisition of the Tarsus group in 2023, the public takeover of Ascential PLC in 2024, and the recently announced 2026 acquisition of Clarion Events. Prior to joining Informa she practised at Clifford Chance in London and Blake Cassels & Graydon in Vancouver, Canada.
