Margarita Slavina is the chief legal officer of Verdant Energy, a Singapore-based renewable energy developer established by A.P. Møller Capital with a mandate to develop, invest, own, operate and maintain renewable energy assets in the Southeast Asia region. In her current role, Margarita helps navigate the complexities of a multi-jurisdictional emerging market-facing energy transition business whilst maintaining an uncompromising stance on corporate excellence and international best practices. During her career both in-house and with several major international law firms, Margarita has advised on a wide range of development, acquisition, construction and financing of major industrial and infrastructure projects ranging from power plants to chemical and petrochemical process plants to transport infrastructure in South East Asia and Middle East.
