John Teitler is a Senior Partner of Teitler & Teitler. John advises ultra-high net worth clients on various family law and trust matters (contentious) in New York and elsewhere in the United States, and has also done so throughout various European jurisdictions, South America jurisdictions, Caribbean jurisdictions, England, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, Hong Kong, and the PRC. He has served as lead trial counsel on numerous contentious family law matters involving +$1 billion. John also provides non-contentious advice to individuals and families on a broad array of issues, including estate planning matters, art law matters, and asset purchases and sales both domestically in the United States and abroad.

He frequently lectures and writes on the intersection of family law and trust law. John is the third generation of his family to act as Senior Partner of the 17-lawyer boutique New York-based firm Teitler & Teitler.
