Jan Dernestam was named Mannheimer Swartling’s Managing Partner in 2011 and has been a member of the firm’s Board of Directors since 2009. He specialises in all kinds of finance law focusing in particular on leasing and asset finance, loan financing, acquisition financing and structured financing. Jan Dernestam regularly represents finance companies and international banks. He works in particular with cross-border leasing of aircraft, trains and ships. His practice covers a wide range of export financing, bond issues as well as regulatory work for banks and finance companies.
