Fiona Teague is a Partner at Shoosmiths. Fiona specialises in a wide range of commercial contracts in particular warehousing, logistics, facilities and property management outsourcing arrangements, supply chain, routes to market (including distribution and agency) and manufacturing routinely with cross border reach. As an ex-GC herself, Fiona has extensive experience of working with in-house teams acting both as the interface between the legal team and the Board as well as legal team and the business. She acts both customer and supplier side advising pragmatically on commercial arrangements with a deep understanding of the need to balance risk with opportunity. Recently she has advised extensively in relation to supply chain disruption and other impacts of Brexit, Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine. She advises clients across sectors including FMCG, food and beverage, food delivery, telecoms manufacturing and professional services. Fiona is passionate about ESG and driving improvements in ED&I in the legal sector. She is Co-Chair of Shoosmiths Balance (gender parity) network, an active ally of Embrace, Unique and Proud networks and a mentor to many junior and aspiring lawyers from various backgrounds. She was delighted to be named a “trailblazer in the law” in the Obelisk Support Women Who Will report Class of 2023 which recognises exceptional women in the legal industry who have shown exemplary leadership, vision, and action in the legal community.
