Sarah joined GSK in March 2018 and has worked in a number of roles. Since January of this year, Sarah has been dedicated full time to the Transformation & Separation of GSK. Prior to this, Sarah was SVP Legal Corporate Affairs & Pharma Supply Chain, where she led the Legal Teams supporting Business Development & Corporate, Pharma Supply Chain, Procurement and WREF, Digital Tech & Privacy, Global Employment Law, Global Competition Law, Trade Sanctions & Export Controls and ABAC. Prior to GSK Sarah lived and worked in Switzerland. She joined from the biotech company, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where she spent 4 years as VP, Legal – International, building out the legal team to support Alexion’s ex-US operations. Prior to that Sarah worked for Novartis Pharma for 6 years at its Headquarters in Basel in roles of increasing responsibility, including Head Legal for Asia Pacific, Middle East & African Countries and Global Head Legal Specialty Care & Global Product Strategy and Commercialisation.

Sarah is a qualified English Solicitor and has worked in private practice at Baker McKenzie’s London office, in-house with DuPont and as a Compliance Director at Schering-Plough. She graduated from Newcastle University with a BA(Hons) in History and studied the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in European Competition Law from King’s College, University of London.
