Rupert is the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of Informa plc, the FTSE 100 Media Group.
He is a member of the Executive Management Team, with responsibility for the Legal and Governance functions, comprising the Legal, Company Secretarial, Compliance and Data Protection teams.
He is an M&A lawyer by training, having worked at Allen & Overy for a number of years, and during his career has lived in London, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
He has extensive international experience in the TMT sector with Expedia Inc and Cable & Wireless plc, prior to joining Informa plc in 2011.
The team consists of 70+ colleagues, with a combination of lawyers and subject matter professionals based in London, Oxford, New York, Philadelphia, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
