Jeremy Barton has served for many years as General Counsel at a number of professional service firms, most recently at KPMG UK, where he advised the Chairman, Board and CEO on strategic legal and regulatory matters, including M&A, litigation, governance and risk management, and built the diverse and multi-disciplinary legal department to some 100 lawyers, auditors and other professionals. He continues to counsel leadership on international projects.
Prior to joining KPMG, Jeremy held global General Counsel roles at each of The Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young and Andersen. Jeremy serves on a number of advisory boards in the legal sector and served two terms on the Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel - Europe. He enjoys biking in the Surrey Hills and running in the African bush.
