Alison Wixley is Head of Legal and Risk at Bidvest Freight. She has been working in the logistics and freight industry for over 17 years, starting at one of the smaller Bidvest Freight subsidiaries in 2005 and heading up the legal and risk function at a Bidvest Freight divisional level since 2018. Her main focus area currently is our insurance portfolio, including placement, claims handling, risk management and risk retention policies. Alison also advises the various subsidiaries on compliance, contracts, and general legal matters, as well as providing advice, reporting and support to the relevant directors on the risk and ESG committees.
