Thandi Kuzwayo is the Head of Legal and Compliance and Acting Company Secretary at the Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF), with more than a decade of experience in legal management, governance, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and ethical leadership. She
holds an MBA, a Postgraduate LLB, and a Bachelor of Social Science degree, and is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. A Legal 500 GC Powerlist 2026 Honoree, Thandi is recognised for helping organisations proactively manage legal risks, strengthen governance frameworks, enhance regulatory compliance, and navigate complex regulatory and emerging risks.

Her expertise spans corporate governance, risk management, ethical business practices, and AI governance, with a strong focus on aligning organisational strategy with sustainable and responsible business principles. Beyond her leadership role, Thandi has served as an instructor for the Black Lawyers Association for over a decade, training legal practitioners in commercial drafting and contributing to the development of legal talent across South Africa.
