Wellington is a business and legal leader with over 23 years of experience spanning private law firm practice and in-house counsel roles across different industry sectors including mobile telecommunications, banking/financial services and consumer goods. Wellington's skillset includes business leadership, people leadership and development, strategy development, planning and execution, crisis and issue management, business transformation (including corporate transactions) and external engagement, among others. His career has also taken an academic bend, having lectured at the University of Zimbabwe's School of Law for 8 years simultaneously with his corporate career. Among his achievements, Wellington has been a C-suite leader across different industry sectors with both local and global corporates, has led diverse and multi-cultural teams across continents and jurisdictions, has led governance and advised executives and boards, has led successful regulatory engagements across Africa and led and delivered complex, high value continental and global high value projects and transactions.
